Council Activities:
 

Council Officer's Meetings are held the First Tuesday each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Guadalupe Room.

Council Business Meetings are held the Second Tuesday each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Deacon Tone Room. 

A Rosary precedes each Monthly Business Meeting at 6:30 p.m. 

Our Council First Degree Team will conduct practices and/or First Degree ceremonies each month. These will be held the Third Saturday each month at 9:00 a.m. in the Deacon Tone Room. The team and all candidates are required to wear jackets and ties. If there are no candidates that month, the team will conduct a practice.  For any additional information contact SK Harmon Meeker at (623) 566-6103.

The council hosts a large number of fund raisers and activities throughout the year.

Some activities include: Corporate Communion; Potluck Dinners; Breakfasts; Holiday and Seasonal Themed Dinner Dances; a Golf Outing; the SES 1000 Club.

FEBRUARY 2012:

February 7:               Officer's Meeting in the Guadalupe Room at 7:00 p.m.

February 11:             Mardi Gras Dinner and Dance following the 4:00 p.m. mass. Social Hour 5:00 pm, Dinner will be served at 5:45 pm, Dancing will follow dinner. A Cash Bar will be available. Tickets are $25.00 each, Ticket sales will begin after all weekend masses beginning January 21, 2012 and will also be available weekdays at the parish office. February 14:             The Rosary Service and General Business Meeting in the Deacon Tone Room. The Rosary will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting at 7:00 p.m. Members are asked to enter through the Library door. The ladies are showing at film that begins at 6:00 p.m. and we don not want to disturb them.

February 18:             The First Degree Team meets at 9:00 a.m. in the Deacon Tone Room.

February 19:             Second and Third Degree Ceremony at Fray Francisco Garces Council 3855, 8066th N. 49th Avenue, Glendale.   

                                                               

February 25:             Knights of Columbus District Free Throw Competition at Desert Oasis Elementary School, 17161 N. Bajada Road, Surprise. The competition will begin at 8:00 a.m. Our council has a total of 7 boys and girls in the District Finals.

                                                                

 

MARCH 2012:

March 6:                     Officer's Meeting in the Guadalupe Room at 7:00 p.m.

March 13:                   Rosary Service at 6:30 p.m. prior to the General Business Meeting.

March 13:                   General Business Meeting in the Deacon Tone Room at 7:00 p.m.

March 17:                   The First Degree Team meets at 9:00 a.m. in the Deacon Tone Room.

March 25:                   State Basketball Free Throw Finals at St. Mary's High School, 2525 North Third Street, Phoenix.

                                                               

March 25:                   Knights of Columbus Corporate Communion at the 11:00 a.m. mass. There will be reserved seating for the Knights and their families. Please wear you name tags. Lunch will follow at the Palmbrook Country Club, 9350 W. Greenway Road, Sun City. The club is offering a Savory Swiss Steak or Herb Roasted Chicken Breast Lunch with a gravy boat, green beans w/sun dried tomatoes, hot rolls and butter, a brownie, iced tea, coffee and water all for $15.00 per person. The dress is dark suits or blazer, white shirt and tie.

                                                                 

March 31:                   The Knights of Columbus Council 12144 Annual Charity Golf Tournament will be held at the Willow Creek Golf Course, 10600 W. Boswell Blvd, Sun City. Four man Scramble limited to the first 144 paid entries. The entry fee is $25.00, which includes lunch and a donation. Make checks payable to the Knights of Columbus. In addition to the entry fee there are golf fees. Residents w/permit $5.00 and w/o permit $26.00. Non-Residents $35.00 (Golf Cart not included). Check in is between 6-7:30 a.m., Shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. Lunch will be back at the church in Seton Hall with plenty of pizza, chicken wings, beer and prizes.
